Video Makes A Comeback

When it comes to lead generation, we tell our startup clients it all starts with content, content, content.  Our former colleague and long-time collaborator Jeff Eagle of the video production firm Eaglevision is helping Crowded Ocean find new ways that early stage companies can make effective use of video as part of their content strategy.  When we speak at the upcoming National Venture Capital Association meeting next month, Jeff is helping us to illustrate some of the new trends in video production.

We’ve all seen low-end video productions that are not much more than automated powerpoint presentations.  Jeff’s expertise leverages new approaches like crowd-sourcing and template-driven animation to grab the viewer to tell a memorable story; to do it with emotional impact and within a budget that makes sense for a thinly-funded tech startup.
